That is just insane. The W115 Mercedes 220D was a 3000-pound car with 60 hp, giving it a weight-to-hp ratio of 50:1. This gave it a 0-60 of a half a minute. This Miata has a 25 hp engine in a 2000-pound car, meaning that it has an EIGHTY-to-ONE hp ratio. That’s over 1.5x the ratio of the 220D! This thing must be hideously slow.
